plan a treat!

Kat and I try our very best to eat real food in appropriate sized portions. We also both have a HUGE sweet tooth. Let’s just say we can be dangerous in a room full of desserts. This is why we plan to have some delicious and decadent dessert every two weeks. People lose their minds when we tell them we only eat dessert every two weeks.

Trust me, this is as safe as we can make it and it works very well for us.

Why does it work?

First, we make a big deal out of it. When it is dessert night, we dress up, hit the town and have no guilt about crushing two of the most decadent desserts on the menu. This is our night to live up the sugar and be totally cool with it.

It also keeps us from crushing desserts every single night which is what we would probably be doing if we didn’t have a plan in place. As we all know, sugar is the cause of many health issues we currently face, such as diabetes. We would be in really bad shape if we ate desserts as often as out little heart’s desire!

This is why we plan to treat ourselves and you should too! Dessert isn’t your thing? No problem, figure out what is your treat going to be and make it a priority. Like getting your nails done? Go for it! Is pizza what you crave every day? Go get the biggest, baddest pizza in town and just crush it!

Just make sure to make a plan and then work the plan, that is the process. Following the process will bring you success and get you on your way to exceeding your goals!
